Easter is already in full swing here; while you are looking for your easter eggs, I am looking for my Dreamies.

Seit einiger Zeit muss ich für meine Leckerlies arbeiten. Das heißt, ich muss sie mit meinen Pfoten irgendwo heraus fummeln. Bei dieser Konstruktion haben sich meine Ohnefelleltern aber geirrt; ich drehe das ganze Teil einfach um, sodass meine Leckerlies vor mir liegen und ich sie alle auf einmal essen kann.
For some time now I have had to work for my treats. That means I have to fumble them out somewhere with my paws. But my parents without fur got it wrong with this construction; I just turn the whole thing over so that my treats are in front of me and I can eat them all at once.

Ich glaube, ich muss meine Menschen einmal untersuchen lassen; sie verwechseln Rüchsichtsnahme mit Bescheidenheit.
Weil ich auf meine Ohnefelleltern Rücksicht nehme und nicht ständig nach Leckerlies frage, glauben die beiden glatt ich bin bescheiden und möchte keine. Da frage ich mich, ist es Ignoranz, Vergesslichkeit oder reine Boshaftigkeit, warum sie mir nicht von sich aus meine tägliche Ration Dreamies geben.
I think I have to have my people examined sometime; they mistake consideration for humility.
Because I am considerate of my parents and don’t constantly ask for treats, the two of them believe that I’m modest and don’t want any. I ask myself, is it ignorance, forgetfulness or sheer malice, why they don’t give me my daily ration of Dreamies of their own accord.

Kennt ihr das? Da sitzt man als Katze ganz bequem herum, hat sich Ohnefellmamis Handy geschnappt und möchte ein paar Selfies machen und dann schiebt sich diese Frau ins Bild.
Do you know that? As a cat you sit around comfortably, have grabbed Mommy’s cell phone and want to take a few selfies and then this woman pushes herself into the picture.

Ich frage mich, warum meinen Ohnefelleltern so schwer von Begriff sind. Jetzt habe ich einmal in die Tabelle gesehen, in der Menschenalter mit Katzenalter verglichen werden. Da ist das Alter meiner Menschen gar nicht aufgeführt und ich musste selber nachrechnen: Sie sind beide weit über 200 Katzenjahre alt! – Kein Wunder also, dass sie keine neuen Tricks mehr lernen.
I wonder why my parents without fur are so difficult to understand. Now I’ve looked at the table that compares human age with cat age. The age of my hoomans is not listed and I had to do the math myself: They are both well over 200 cat years old! – So it’s no wonder that they no longer learn new tricks.

Ich weiß gar nicht, was ihr Menschen immer habt; Fitness macht doch Spaß – wenn man es nicht alleine macht!

Die mit dem Knipsteil (Ohnefellmami) hat mich wieder erwischt, als ich gerade aufgewacht bin. Die Zeit hätte sie lieber nutzen sollen, mir frisches Futter hinzustellen.
The one with the snap part (mommy without fur) caught me again when I just woke up. She should have used the time better to give me fresh food.

Auf Mäusejagd brauche ich nicht zu gehen, das tun meine Ohnefelleltern für mich und legen mir ihre Beute vor die Füße.
I don’t need to go hunting for mice, my parents without fur do that for me and lay their prey at my feet.

Sonntag? Mir egal, für mich ist jeder Tag Lottetag.
Sunday? I don’t care, for me every day is Lotteday.

Jetzt soll ich wohl auch noch jonglieren lernen? Oh da sind ja Dreamies drin!

Endlich ist die Sonne wieder da. Die Gelegenheit muss ich nutzen, um ein paar Sonnenstrahlen zu fangen.

Mit meinem Vogelbeobachtungsposten haben sich meine Ohnefelleltern richtig Mühe gegeben. Leider sind hier nicht mehr so viele Vögel unterwegs seit die Baustelle da ist. Dafür kann ich unter der Woche den Bauarbeitern zusehen.
With my birdwatching post, my parents without fur really made an effort. Unfortunately, there aren’t that many birds around since the construction site was there. But I can watch the construction workers during the week.
Damit meine Ohnefelleltern das nächste Mal nicht wieder das Wichtigste vergessen, habe ich ihnen eine Einkaufsliste geschrieben.
So that my parents without fur don’t forget the most important things the next time, I wrote them a shopping list.
